James Kirk: The further out we go the more I wonder what it is we are trying to accomplish.

Krall: The federation has taught you that conflict should not exist, but struggle teaches you who you really are. Lieutenant Uhura: There is strength in unity.
Spock: We will do what we have always done, Jim. We will find hope in the impossible.
Spock: The miserable have no other medicine but only hope. Bones: On Death’s door and he’s quoting Shakespeare.
Bones, about the necklace Spock gave Uhura as a sign of respect…: You gave your girlfriend radioactive jewelry? Spock: [It’s harmless but it is traceable.] Bones: You gave your girlfriend a tracking device? Spock: That was not my intention. Bones: I’m glad he doesn’t respect me.
