Sophie: No. It’s just all rather hard to believe.
Sophie on dream blowing: Why here?
BFG: Because I hears his little heart.
Sophie: BFG, did you hear my heart at the orphanage?
BFG: Yeah, I hears it right now.
Sophie: Dreams are so quick!
BFG: Yeah, on the outside. But they’s long on the inside.
Sophie: BFG you say you can hear … spiders spin… can you still hear me? I feel you’re here. I know you’re here. [She jumps in faith, and he catches her.]
Sophie: Are you think of a plan?
BFG: I’s not have the foggiest idea in the romp world.
BFG: Once us giants, we be gentites.
BFG: You. You is insult to giants.

BFG: Your majesty, I’s your humbug servant.
BFG: What is Sophie’s dream? A golden fizzward. Don’t see many of them. But what does it says?
BFG: I know that be your heart’s desire…
Sophie: But will I still have you?
BFG: Are you forgetting something? Are you forgetting these? [Points to his large ears.]
Sophie: The queen sent them off with snozzumber seeds and it was all they would get to eat and they were just going to have to get used to it.
